From the WhoIs for capgovernancellp.com:The SRA has been informed that a website “www.capgovernancellp.com†is operating.
The website claims to be for a law firm called “Cap Governance LLP.†This website is not a website for a genuine firm of solicitors.
The website provides a telephone number of “+44-203-3189-894†and an email address of “info@capgovernancellp.comâ€.
The SRA has also been informed that members of public have received emails from an individual claiming to be “Tracy Smith from Administration Department†and claiming to be connected to “Cap Governance LLP†in respect of pursuing compensation in relation to a supposedly “Private Stock Purchase an Escrow Agreementâ€. A document entitled, “Private Stock Purchase and Escrow Agreement appears to be signed by “Brian Osmond, Executive Director of CAP GOVERNANCE LLPâ€.
The website and the emails misuse the registered postal address and the SRA identification number of a genuine firm of solicitors.
Any business or transactions through the website or the contact details set out above are not undertaken by a solicitor's firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
