From the WhoIs for lucassolicitors.co.uk:The SRA has received a report that emails claiming to relate to an inheritance matter have been sent to members of the public, falsely claiming to be from "Lucas & Co. Solicitors".
The emails refer to an inheritance and state that the sender is trying to locate a missing beneficiary/inheritor.
The emails appear to be sent by a "Elton J. Werner, LLB, QC," using the email address: "eltonwerner@lucassolicitors.co.uk." The emails seen by the SRA also misuse the name and address of a genuine firm of solicitors.
The website "www.lucassolicitors.co.uk" is also operating.
The website claims to be for a law firm called "Lucas & Co. Solicitors". This website is not a website for a genuine firm of solicitors.
The website lists several individuals including: Elton J. Werner, Mathew Robinson, Rachel Watkins, Alec Micheal, Terry Burns, Helga Stevens, Gregory Edison, Karen Carlisa Moore, Christian R. Elliott, Clayton Alexander, Arleen Claribel, Alfred Benton and Annette Rogers.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm called Lucas & Co Solicitors. The SRA does authorise a number of genuine solicitors with the same or similar name to those listed above, however the SRA understands that they have no connection to this matter.
The website misuses the name of a genuine firm of solicitors with a similar name,. The website also provides a telephone number of "+447520620774" and an e-mail address of "clerks@lucassolicitors.co.uk."
