Scam alert from the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
The SRA has received a report that a letter claiming to relate to an inheritance matter has been sent to a member of the public, falsely claiming to be from Raymond Saul Solicitors.
The correspondence seen by the SRA is a faxed letter that refers to unclaimed “assets†apparently worth €5,950,777, and states that the sender is trying to locate a missing relative/beneficiary. The letter asks the recipient, who it seems has a similar surname to the supposedly deceased client, to make contact regarding the supposed “assetsâ€.
The correspondence claims to be sent by â€Barr. Dr Raymond Saul B.A.†and includes reference to email addresses of info@rsaulsolicitors.com and rs@rsaulsolicitors.com, and contact numbers of +00442080892591 (telephone) and 00442039052491 (fax). The emails seen by the SRA also misuse the name and address of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).
The SRA also understands that a website is operating from the address of “www.rsaulsolicitors.comâ€. This website appears to have misused information and names of people from the website of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below), but has changed the contact numbers and email addresses to mirror those used in the letter referred to above, i.e. 020 8089 2591 (telephone), 020 3905 2491 (fax) and “info@rsaulsolicitors.comâ€.
Any business or transactions claiming to be from “Raymond Saul Solicitors†through the email addresses, contact numbers or website mentioned above, are not undertaken by a solicitor’s practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Scam alert from the Solicitors Regulation Authority website:
The SRA has received a report that documentation claiming to relate to an inheritance matter has been sent to a member of the public, falsely claiming to be from Raymond Saul Solicitors.
The most recent fax seen by the SRA is in German and appears to relate to a supposed inheritance matter, with £5,950,777 stated to be held in a UK bank account. The recipient of the letter had the same surname as the supposedly deceased client.
The fax claims to be sent by "Barr. Raymond Saul ESQ" of "Raymond Saul Solicitors" and includes an email address of info@rsaulsolicitor.com and contact numbers of 020 8089 2591 (telephone) and 020 3905 2491 (fax). The faxed document also misuses the address and trading name of a genuine firm of solicitors.
The SRA understands that other connected documentation was also sent by fax to the recipient in Germany, including copy bank statements supposedly evidencing the funds and a document purporting to be the passport of "Raymond Saul".
The SRA understands that a website may also have been operating from the address of "www.rsaulsolicitor.com". This would not be the website of a genuine firm of solicitors.
Any business or transactions claiming to be from "Raymond Saul Solicitors" through the email addresses, contact numbers or website mentioned above, are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
