Scam Type: Advance Fee Fraud Scam

The SRA has received a report from a member of the public that she has received emails regarding an unclaimed inheritance which falsely claim to be from "Enrique Sanchez", from a firm named "Spanish Lawyer Liverpool".
The emails seen by the SRA refer to an "abandoned investment" which was allegedly held by a former client, who died without a Will, who had the same surname as the recipient of the email. The recipient was asked to contact the sender of the email, using the telephone number +447937149988.
An email seen by the SRA was sent from the email address: "freemanycole@mail.com" and gave the address Spanish Lawyer Liverpool, Gladstone House, 2 Church Road, Liverpool, L15 9EG.
Any business or transactions through the email address "freemanycole@mail.com" or telephone number "+447937149988" are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice or an individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
