Scam Type: Advance Fee Fraud Scam

Email sent to our Admin address:
On 25th Jan 2017, telephone number +447053827785 has been used by a person which pretend to be Mr David M. Morgan working as Human Resources Administrator at Goring Hotel in London using email address info.goringhotels@gmail.com as part of an Employment Scam.
Please don't confront scammers or tell them their details are on anti-scam sites. It will take them minutes to set up a new identity and existing warnings will be worthless.

I had the same case but I was so foolish that I give scammers my id data...what can i do now in order to secure myself?

The scammers most likely have no interest in your id data, it was your money that they wanted to steal by getting you to pay fees for non-existent travel documents.

If you sent them any Id documents though (such as passport or identity card) then there is a possibility that they could use the documents in future scams to claim to be you, so you should contact the authorities that issued the documents and let them know that they are in the hands of criminals.
