The country code +599 was assigned to the Netherlands Antilles until it dissolved in 2010, and is now in use by Curaçao and the Caribbean Netherlands (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba). Curaçao and the Caribbean Netherlands phone numbers are 10 or 11 digits in length, including the Country Code, depending on the island (numbers on Curaçao are 11 digits, the rest 10).

The first digit indicates which island the number is allocated to, as follows:
  • 3 - Sint Eustatius
  • 4 - Saba
  • 7 - Bonaire
  • 9 - Curaçao
The numbers 1 and 6 are non-Geographic and not specific to a particular island.
