I have been contacted by this number. What type of scam is this? He told me that he found me on a dating website. He speaks to me and skyped with me. Please tell me what type of scam this is. Thank you Karen

This number has been used in the past on the fake websites listed above. Scammers set up fake websites for various scams, but in this case, I would say that it is likely that they were set up as part of a romance scam, to provide the scammer for a backstory for his fake character "Michael Ryan".

He is now running the same scam on you, so the best thing for you to do is just block him and don't respond. Don't accuse him of being a scammer, he will just deny it and carry on tryin to steal from you.

Please also help his other victims by posting any additional details you have for him - email addresses, websites, etc.
